The Pac-12 Basketball Tournament Returns to Las Vegas

The 2027 Pac-12 men’s and women’s basketball tournaments will take place from Tuesday, March 9 through Saturday, March 13, 2027, at MGM Grand Garden Arena on the Las Vegas Strip.

All nine Pac-12 basketball programs will compete for their conference championships and automatic berths in the NCAA Tournament. Women’s games will be played before the men’s games each day, creating a full schedule of college basketball throughout tournament week.

The tournament brings together conference rivals including Gonzaga, Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Texas State and Utah State.

Both tournaments begin with a play-in game between the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds. Seeds will be determined by each team’s regular-season conference record.

The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds receive double byes into the semifinals. The No. 3 and No. 4 seeds receive single byes into the quarterfinal round. This format rewards regular-season performance while giving every team an opportunity to compete for the championship.

Both the men’s and women’s championship games are scheduled for Saturday, March 13. Each tournament champion will receive the Pac-12’s automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
