The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo brings the leading competitors in professional rodeo to Las Vegas for ten nights of championship competition. The 2026 NFR is scheduled for December 3 through December 12 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Often described as the championship event of professional rodeo, the NFR features top competitors in events including bull riding, barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping and tie-down roping.
Each performance offers a different night of competition as contestants compete for round victories, season earnings and world championship standings. Fans can purchase tickets for an individual performance or attend multiple nights during the ten-day event.
National Finals Rodeo week also transforms Las Vegas with western-themed concerts, viewing parties, shopping events, dining specials and entertainment throughout the city.

National Finals Rodeo Events
National Finals Rodeo performances traditionally feature seven major rodeo disciplines:
- Bareback riding

- Tie-down roping
- Barrel racing
- Bull riding
Because every performance contributes to the final standings, demand can be especially strong for opening weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, and the championship performance on the final evening.
Thomas & Mack Center
The Thomas & Mack Center is located near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, approximately two miles east of the central Las Vegas Strip. The arena has hosted the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas for decades and is converted into a championship rodeo venue each December.
Guests should allow additional travel time before each performance. Traffic, security screening and rideshare demand can increase significantly during NFR week.
